The Melody Oaks Ranch is located in Priddy, Texas on Highway 16 between Comanche & Goldthwaite. The Melody Oaks Ranch features 60 acres with over 600 oak trees, a climate controlled 7000 square foot building, outdoor sound stage & amphitheater with outdoor dance floor, and 50 RV pads with hookups. Rental available for your next - Wedding, Reunion, Private Party, Company Picnic, Business Meeting, Gathering, Receptions, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Special Occasions…. Spring Cookoff Information & Entry Form

The Melody Oaks Ranch Spring Cookoff is fast becoming one of the largest cookoff's in Central Texas! The cookoff is sanctioned by The Lone Star Barbecue Society. Come see what a country cookoff is all about and help make this one of the biggest yet...! Cookers come from all corners of the state to compete for points, trophies, prize money, & braggin' rights. Last year we had 110 cooking teams and at this level the competition get's pretty tough.

We would like to thank you for your support! It's not often you can have this much fun and help a great cause! A portion of the cookoff entry fee is donated to the American Cancer Society - Comanche County Relay For Life. We will also auction several items for them at the Cookoff Awards Ceremony Sat. afternoon. You can also stop by their cold drink stand at the event!

Early bird gets the worm! Mail your cookoff entry form and entry fees in by March 27th and you will be entered in The Early Bird Contest! Winner will be drawn at cook's meeting Saturday April 10th, 2010 at 9:00 am and will win their entry fees!!! That's right you will get to cook in the Melody Oaks Ranch Spring Cookoff for free!!!
